Abstract

Humans are one of the important factors in a production process system by reason of human flexibility movements can help in production activities. one of them is in the wood powder production industry which is classified as heavy work where the process is mostly still done manually without the help of machines. Heavy and repetitive work like this will be susceptible to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). CV Sumber Rejeki is a wood powder provider company where many workers are found to experience complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), the purpose of this study is to evaluate ergonomic risks and suggest work posture improvements using the REBA & OWAS method where after data processing it is found that there is a need for improvement as evidenced by the results of REBA score 11 & OWAS 2, the improvement of the work attitude posture given which can be seen in Figure 2 can reduce the risk as evidenced by the results of OWAS score 1 & REBA 3.
