Abstract

Transportation is one of the important elements of an urban area. Rapid population growth has resulted in high demand for the provision, improvement, and service of transportation infrastructure, both in terms of quality and quantity, one of which is roads. One of the congestions that occurs in Gresik City is on Jalan Raya Manyar. This road section is often passed by residents, because the area is an area with a high population, factories, and business locations. This can be seen from cars stopping on the side of the road, pedestrians crossing carelessly, large vehicles entering and leaving factories, and cars parked on the side of the road. From the results of the analysis, the volume of traffic flow based on the calculation of the survey results obtained the highest value of 3527.5 at location point 2 on Wednesday at 16.00-17.00 and the lowest value of 2189 at location point 1 on Sunday at 16.00-17.00 WIB. Traffic flow volume based on survey results obtained an average value at location 1 of 2722 pcu/hour and location 2 of 3115 pcu/hour. Side obstacles at location 1 during the survey obtained high side obstacle criteria and for location 2, the criteria were low. The free flow speed at location 1 during data analysis obtained a value of 78 km/hour and location 2 of 62 km/hour. At the alternative time, it was obtained 79 km/hour. The capacity of the road section at location 1 during data analysis obtained a value of 8792 pcu/hour and location 2 of 4000 pcu/hour. The capacity of the road section at location 2 during the alternative obtained a value of 9155 pcu/hour. The degree of saturation at location 1 during data analysis obtained a value of 0.309 and location 2 obtained a degree of saturation value of 0.778. The degree of saturation at location 2 during alternative 2 obtained a value of 0.3403. The travel time and speed of passenger cars at the analysis point location 1 was 0.020 hours, and location 2 was 0.047 hours. At the time of alternative location 2 was found to be 0.030 hours. And the degree of accompaniment only for road 2/2 T at location 2 was found to be 0.848.
