Abstract

Abstrak - Registration at SMA Negeri 1 Sangkapura is still carried out conventionally. To provide services to make it easier for prospective new students in the process of accepting new students, by utilizing the efficiency of the new student admission process through the use of information technology. The website-based PPDB information system provides a number of benefits, such as making it easier for prospective students and parents to register online, as well as increasing efficiency and accuracy in processing new student registration data. In the process of developing information systems using waterfall models. The watelfall method describes the steps in the software development cycle, from system analysis, design, program coding, to testing. This registration system is built using PHP programming language as the base language and MySQL database as the database server. By designing this information system, inputting registrant data becomes easier. The results of testing the new student admission system can be used by admin staff in managing registration data for prospective new students efficiently and effectively.
