Abstract

Workload is an important factor that must be considered by the company in managing human resources. Excessive workload causes employee fatigue and results in high employee absenteeism. UD. Karya Mandiri is a medium-sized company engaged in sawmills experiencing problems related to processing workloads In this company has 17 production workers. So far, absenteeism often occurs due to workload factors. This research method uses an approach with the Time Study method to find out the standard time of each part which is then calculated using the Workload Analysis method to determine the optimal workload and number of workers. Furthermore, incentive is given with the Group Incentive method to find out the nominal incentives according to the calculation and the amount of workload experienced by workers at this time. This study aims to analyze and propose giving incentives to increase the motivation / motivation of workers in work so that the workmanship of the product is not disrupted by the loss to the workers and the achievement of the company's desire to meet customer demand. The results of this study are first to find out the parts of work in the production process, namely parts of poni, peracik1 and peracik2. The next finding is to find out the standard time of each part that has been observed with the Time Study method and the results obtained from parts of poni 100,30 parts peracik 1 49,96 and parts peracik 2 36,14. Third, knowing the workload that is currently experienced and knowing how many workers are optimal for each job using the Workload Analysis method, and obtained from each section, the workers' poni are currently 6 people to 11 people, the workers section 1 is currently 6 to 13 people and parts of workers are currently 5 people to 10 people. After that, an incentive calculation was made using the Group Incentive method, from the poni, peracik1, the peracik2 currently received an incentive of Rp. 100,000, - and after calculation, the results for the poni are Rp. 218,818, - for parts of peracik1 in the amount of Rp. 217,856, - and parts of dispensary of Rp. 188,181, - for these parts every week.
