Abstract

PT. Kompindo Wiratama is engaged in spare part industry of steel plate with production process include pressing, moulding and forming. One of their products is seat belt. Production process of seat belt can not separated from the role of machine and human. In addition to the quality of the machine,, the quality of human resources can also affect the quality of seat belt. Productivity employee high if there are a balance between workload, work capacity, and work environment. In the year 2017 from January to December, employee productivity does not meet the targets set by the company. This research was conducted to find out the relationship between work period and the condition of the work environment toward employee productivity of seat belt production. In this research the analysis process using multiple correlation model with the help of software SPSS 22.0. The variables used are working period (X1) and the condition of the work environment (X2) as independent variable and employee productivity (Y) as dependent variable. From the research obtained the value of F statistic test is 0,309 with significance value 0,755, it shows correlation model for joint test between two independent variable can be said not enough to influence employee productivity with significance value more than 0,05 (5%). For the value of Adjusted R Square (R2) = 0,171, this indicates that employee productivity is influenced by work and environment 17,1% while 82,9% influenced by other factors that not included in research model.
