Abstract
This study aims to analyze the workload levels of employees in the project division at CV. XYZ, which consists of fitter, welder, and rigger divisions, in order to determine the optimal number of workers. Uneven workload distribution can affect employee productivity, safety, and job satisfaction; therefore, an objective measurement using the Workload Analysis (WLA) and Full Time Equivalent (FTE) methods is required. This research utilized primary data obtained from field observations and interviews, as wellas secondary data from company documents. The results showed that the WLA values for the fitter, welder, and rigger divisions were 69%, 77%, and 92%, respectively. Meanwhile, the FTE values were 0.81 for fitters, 0.94 for welders, and 1.16 for riggers. These findings indicate that the rigger division has the highest workload, exceeding the optimal capacity, while the fitter division has a low workload and the welder division is near optimal. Therefore, adjustments in the number of workers or redistributionof workloads, especially in the rigger division, are necessary to achieve a more balanced and efficient workload distribution.
