Abstract

Studentswhocancontrolthemselveswillnotdowrongactionsthattheyhaveexperiencedbecausetheywillunderstandthattakingactionsthatviolatetheruleswillgetpunishmentconsequences.Regardinggender,aperson'sself-controlisseenfromgender,includingroles,behavior,preferences,andotherattributesthatexplainaparticularculture.BasedonAschildrenage,thecommunitiesthatinfluencethemincrease,aswellasthemanysocialexperiencestheyexperience,childrenlearntorespondtodisappointments,dislikes,failures,andlearntocontrolthem,sothatovertimethisself-controlemergesfromwithinitself.Birthordercanaffectaperson'sself-controlinvariousconditionsincludinghowtheindividualviewstherolethatmustbecarriedout.Thisstudyaimstodeterminedifferencesinself-controlintermsofgender,ageandbirthorderinstudents.Thisstudyusesaquantitativemethodwithapopulationof547students.Inthiscase,theresearcherusesanon-probabilitysamplingtechniquewithaproportionatestratifiedrandomsamplingtechnique.Thesampleobtainedis241students.Themethodcollectedusingaquestionnaire.Thisstudyusesasummativescalemeasurement,withaLikertscaletypewith5(five)alternativeanswers.Testthevalidityofthescaleusingcontentvalidity.ThescalereliabilitytestusestheCronbachalphatechnique.Thedata analysis technique used the t-test data analysis technique, the Independent Samples T-Test.Theresultsshowedthattherewasnosignificantdifferencebetweenself-controlwithGender,Age, and Birth Order.
