Abstract

The problems that occur in class IV of Elementary School are in the learning process in class, teachers have not used learning media to convey material to students and only using thematic books. This study aims to develop RAKUYAWA scrapbook media (The Tribal Culture Diversity In Java Island) for grade IV Elementary School. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model covering analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study were 25 students in grade IV Elementary School. Data collection techniques and instruments using an expert validation sheets consist of media experts and material experts who assess aspects of graphic feasibility , linguistic feasibility aspects, presentation feasibility aspects, content feasibility aspects and student response questionnaires. This RAKUYAWA scrapbook media can help students understand the material ethnic and religious diversity. There are folk tales from each tribe in the scrapbook media developed. The results obtained are : 1) Scrapbook learning media with average results the percentage by media experts and material experts is 90.82%, can be categorized as very valid 2) Media scrapbook learning with the results of the percentage of student responses of 94.1% can be categorized as very good. Based on the validation results, this media can be used in the learning process
