Abstract
This study aims to analyze the quality control of SWA branded bottled drinking water and to carry out quality control in minimizing defective products. Damage to products found in the company are bottle defects, cap defects, dirty water and volume defects and leak defects. If the damage persists and no corrective action is taken, it will cause losses to the company. Therefore, the researcher tries to provide a solution using the six sigma method with tools including Pareto diagrams, control charts, flowcharts and cause-and-effect diagrams. In November 2021, the 600ml and 1,500ml bottled products were damaged by 1.1%, while the quality standard limit set by the company was 0.9%. After corrective measures were taken, in April 2022 the damage to 600ml bottles reached 0.2% and 1,500ml bottles reached 0.5%. Thus the corrective measures have been successfully implemented in minimizing product damage.
