Abstract

The rice production on rain field at Lamongan district can be increase by using quality seed variety and integrated plant management. The rice plant new variety testing need to be done as variety alternative for plant rotation. Objective of this research is to study the growth and potential Inpari rice harvest variety on rain field at Lamongan district.Research held on two sub districts, Sukodadi and Lamongan sub district, at Lamongan district on November 2012 until February 2013. Research method is using complete random group design of one factor variety. Treatment consists of Inpari 7 variety, inpari 11, Inpari 14, Inpari 15, Inpari 18, Inpari 19, Inpari 20, Inpari Sidenuk and Ciherang. Each variety treatment is repeated 3 times.Occur effect of different variety kind in two sub district based on plant height, tillers quantity, productive tillers quantity, panicle length, panicle-1 seed quantity, the weight of filled seeds, weight of 1000 seeds, milled dry weight and fresh weight of stover. Ciherang variety is resulting highest weight gain of dry unhusked rice of 6.13 t ha-1, which is significantly different from the other Inpari. Inpari 18 and inpari 19 varietyhave shorter crop period comparison, that is 104 hst.
