Abstract
This research was motivated by the low mastery of social science concepts. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using the Suit Game method assisted by ice-breaking on the ability to master concepts in fifth grade at UPT SDN 268 Gresik in the academic year 2022-2023. This study employed the True-Experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, involving a control class and an experimental class with a total of 44 participants. Data was collected through pretest and posttest exams. The T-Test analysis results showed a significance of 0.000, < 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is an effect in using the Suit Game method assisted by ice-breaking on the ability to master concepts in the fifth grade of elementary school.
