Abstract
This research aims to optimise the reefer container platform facilities at Teluk Lamong Container Terminal to improve efficiency and reliability in loading and unloading reefer containers. The study looked at the existing facilities at Container Yard RF1, which is a dedicated area for reefer containers at at Teluk Lamong Container Terminal. The research findings identified several issues, such as the lack of reefer plugs, lighting that needs to be improved, and updating the boundary lines of the reefer container arrangement. The analysis showed that although at Teluk Lamong Container Terminal has provided adequate facilities, there are still some problems that need to be improved. Some of the problems identified include the lack of sufficient number of reefer plugs, the need for improved lighting, and the expansion of the boundary line of the reefer container arrangement. Recommendations for improvement include increasing the number of reefer plugs, improving lighting, and updating the boundary lines. It is expected that these improvements will enhance the optimisation, reliability, and safety of reefer container loading and unloading at at Teluk Lamong Container Terminal, and support faster and safer distribution of goods.
