Abstract

In an effort to improve supply chain performance, companies experience obstacles, namely determining how to control raw material supplies and a more optimal and efficient raw material procurement process. The aim of this research is to describe lead time, safety stock, and reorder points when using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) calculation method to improve supply chain performance. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation of the object, namely UD Fitria Sari and the subject is the Raw Material Procurement Section and Company Leadership. The approach in this research uses interactive qualitative with a case study approach. The results of this research show that the use of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) calculation method provides optimal and efficient results in the company's raw material procurement process, starting from the lead time for ordering goods (lead time), safety stock, and reorder time ( reorder point) the company's raw materials are better compared to the company's previous raw material procurement method.
