Abstract

Ammonium chloride was a chemical that was quite widely used in the chemical industry and pharmaceutical industry. In the pharmaceutical industry ammonium chloride was used as a raw material for the manufacture of coughed medicine. As an expectorant this material worked to removed sputum with young. Determination of ammonium chloride levels refers to the six indonesian pharmacopoeia. One way that the method of determining ammonium chloride levels could been used was by validating the analysis method. Validation of analytical methods was used in the process of proving test parameters so that they could met the requirements in their used. This validation's goal was to make sure that the approach for determining ammonium chloride levels was valid and accurate. Validation test parameters include linearity, recovery, precision and accuracy. The determination of ammonium chloride levels was carried out by argentometric titration of the fajans method.
