Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of parental involvement on children's learning motivation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which aims to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter, study certain objective situations, and use researchers as a tool. The results of this research show that parents play a very important role in increasing students' learning motivation. Motivation is very important for parents because it helps children develop effective study habits both at home and at school. Parents act as the child's main motivator and motivate them before starting formal education.
