Abstract

Furniture industry has existed long time and developed rapidly in Gresik, It can be proved by Many industries furniture ranging from small to medium industry (UKM) to large industry with thousands of workers and a great investment. The development of the furniture industry can’t be separated from the increasing demand for the product from year to year. But a few managers and owners are less aware of the efforts of the protection, the fitness, health and safety of the workers. Work which is not ergonomic, Environment that does not meet the terms and unnatural working attitude are some problems that arise at many companies furniture in Gresik. Especially, In small industry. These Problems not only give the additional burden but also cause musculoskeletal system, all of the subjective complaint and fatigue resulting to low productivities work, especially in Moulding process. One of the efforts that made to reduce the level of fatigue is placing a table supporting materials to help workers in moulding process so that workers can be more effective and efficient. With regard to the lighting system in a room the size of 8x5 or 40m2 given 2 lamps and 1 armatu, and about the noise only apply 1 piece earmuff, as well as the humidity and temperature of just applying a fan.
