Abstract

Rice Poor (Raskin) is essential for family heads can’t afford, which is to help reduce the expenditure burden from poor families to meet basic food needs in the form of rice. Rice for the poor program implementation is often a problem faced by implementers and the poor. One of them is that there are many people who are able to get rice for the poor, while people can’t afford not to get rice for the poor, so poor rice distribution target. Therefore, we need a classification system of family heads received and not received rice for the poor, making it easier for rural villages Sidomulyo to determine the recipients of poor rice to be more on target. This research applies data mining techniques classification using the Decision Tree C4.5 method for classifying head of the family received and not received. Attributes used are income, property, housing conditions, and number of family. The data used are the result of data clarification on the Ds. Sidomulyo Kec. Deket Kab. Lamongan in 2012 until 2013 as many as 600 head of the family. System testing is done with seven trials using compositions of different data to determine the accuracy of each experiment. Decision tree that is used is the result of the establishment of the rule on all four experiments, because the highest accuracy rate is 92%.
