Abstract

There are many various media, one of them is computer-based learning media, it also has various kinds of learning media which one of them is edmodo, edmodo can facilitate teachers and learners in overcoming the limitations of face-to-face classroom time, because the aim of this study is "To describe the effectiveness of learning using computer-based learning media (edmodo) in XI B class of Network and Computer Technique skill program in SMK AL-IKHLAS PANCENG". Education is the main thing in achieving success in the future and as an initial foundation for human to progress and growing. It is important to improve the quality of education in this era which has a various advanced tools available. This increasingly sophisticated development also has an impact on the education itself, that is the learning of e-learning edmodo. It is able to facilitate the teachers and the students in overcoming the limitations of face-to-face time in the classroom which also be accessed using a computer, a laptop or personal smartphone anytime and anywhere. This study was a quantitative descriptive research with 17 students of computer and network technical program at XI B class at the subject. The data collection method used was the observation sheet of the teacher's ability to manage the learning, the observation sheet of the learners' activity, and the achievement test of the learning result. The result of data analysis in the study of mathematic learning using e-learning edmodo showed that the teacher's ability in managing learning is categorized very well and the activities of the students during learning is categorized active, while the learning outcomes of the students using e-learning edmodo less than the Criteria Minimum Completeness (KKM) that has been established school. Those three indicators, it turned out that only two indicators were achieved that the ability of the teacher in managing learning and the activities of the students during learning, then learning of mathematic using media e-learning edmodo on linear program material at XI B class of computer and network technical program was said to be ineffective
