Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccarum Officinarum L.) is a type of grass plant - a herb that is cultivated as a sugar-producing plant. The provision of commercial organic fertilizer can increase the growth of sugarcane. This research was carried out in Sumber Desa Kembangan Hamlet, Kebomas Gresik Subdistrict, with an altitude of ± 20 m above sea level, with a maximum air temperature of 31 ° C during May to July 2019. This study used a split plot design with two treatment factors namely the Clone factor and the application time interval factor. (K1: SB1, K4: SB Clone 4) and application time intervals (I0: Control, I1: 7 days, I2: 14 days, I3: 21 days). There are 8 combinations of treatments with repeated three times with 240 plants. Observation variables consisted of plant height, stem length, number of tillers, stem diameter, number of leaves and number of segments. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the treatment of the time interval for giving commercial liquid organic fertilizer and the interaction of the two treatments between application time intervals and clones for all variables for all ages. But the influence of SB1 and SB4 clones shows that there are significant differences in plant height variables at ages 96, 110, 124, and 138 HST. Likewise with the variable stem length and stem diameter there are significant differences at the age of 124 and 138 hst. And the variable number of segments shows a significant difference at 124 years old.
