The students’ average score in pre-test between experimental and control group was 62.187 and 65.625. The score improved in post-test. The significant value of experimental group was 0.00 it was lower than the level of significant at 0.05. Based on the hypothesis result, there is significant different between experimental and control group. Based on the research finding, it could be concluded that Information Gap Activities improve Reading Comprehension. The researcher concluded that information gap activities gave positive impact towards students’ reading comprehension. The researcher also provided three suggestions for the teacher, students and other researcher. The first, teacher should choose the materials that are appropriate and not too difficult for the students before assigning the information activity to the students, the teacher should make sure that the students have fully understood and have the information they need. Then, the teacher should keep control the student activities. So, the teacher should present the language in an enjoyable, relaxed and understandable way. Then, the students are hoped to be active and creative in enriching their vocabularies and to make them easier to understand the text and hoped to use English when they practice information gap activities although it is hard for them. For the next researcher was who wants to conduct a research using information gap activities were recommended to conducted this research in different wider areas, specific text reading comprehension and level.
