Abstract

The research is a quantitative, ho w large the influence of Educative Media on Teaching Learning English at Preschool AL-WALIDA playgroup Bungah Gresik. Although in this, English educates by them just as a stimulus with the problem statement that is there any significant effect of the use of Educative Media on Teaching Learning English at Preschool AL-WALIDA playgroup Bungah Gresik. The purpose of the research is to know how large the influence of Educative Media on Teaching Learning English at Preschool AL-WALIDA playgroup Bungah Gresik and what are the influences that can be gotten by student after they got or used Educative Media. Educative Media is everything that can be used as media to play, which have education value and can develop their potential children ability. In the large sense, Educative Media can be in the form of everything around us or something simple. The research was done at a group of students at Preschool AL-WALIDA playgroup Bungah Gresik. There were 28 students. They were divided into 2 groups, an experiment group and a control group, at random so each group consisted of 14 students. The subject was chosen based on criterion that has been determined. The instrument that was used to collect the data was test in measuring English ability by using Educative Media. The method of data analysis that was used included homogeneity, normality and used t test with SPSS program assistant. From the result of analysis, it can be concluded that the population had homogeny variant in pretest with p = 0,619 and protest, p = 0,102. At normality test was gotten that p = 0,057 for pretest and p = 0,200 for posttest so the population distributed normal. At t test in-group, there was the influence of significant between control group and experimental group with t = 2,507 and p = 0,019. In this case, the children that were given Educative Media had been better English ability with average 1,6079 than the children that were not given Educative Media with average 5,9057. While, at t test in a group, for experiment group, there was the influence that was very significant with t = 4,461 and p = 0,001 and for control group, there was not the significant influence with t = 1,185 and p = 0,257.
