Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that hinder the implementation of the optimization of fleet maintenance PT. Hidup Sejahtera Sentosa. PT. Hidup Sejahtera Sentosa is the company that runs the field of contracting, particularly for transportation, PT. Hidup Sejahtera Sentosa has a fleet of 149 units, which have determined the level of damage by 15% from 149 units owned. But it turns out the level of damage is more than 15%. The existence of this problem, researchers try to provide solutions using a fishbone diagram. Fishbone diagram is a tool used to identify and analyze a process or situation and find possible causes of problems that occur. The results of the identification problem shows the factors that hinder the implementation of the optimization of maintenance, there are four things: firstly the lack of mechanical experts, secondly the tools or machines are still manual, third, employees lack discipline, fourth, use the quality of spare parts number two.
