Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the mineralization of N in soil at the plant okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.) In the form of fresh and composted. This research was conducted at the Green House using completely randomized design. The study was conducted in two phases: 1. composting organic waste, phase 2. The mineralization of organic matter on growth and yield of Okra, with nine fertilization treatment that is 1. Organic waste (ow) 2. Organic waste + organic manure (owm) 3. organic waste + biofound (owb) 4. organic waste + manure + bio found (owmb) 5. compost of organic waste (cow) 6. compost of organic waste + organic manure (cowm) 7. compost of organic waste + biofound (cowb) 8. compost of organic waste + organic manure + biofound (cowmb) and 9. inorganic (in). Data was analyzed by F test 0.05 if there is a real difference then continued with Duncan test 5%. The results showed that the N mineralization age 60 HST were significantly different among all treatments, in order from highest to lowest, in>ow>cowm>owb>cow>(owm, cowmb)> owmb>cowb. Observation of the leaf area, plant dry weight and fresh weight of pods per hectare was not significantly different among all treatments. Keywords: organic waste, compost, mineralization of N, Okra.
