Abstract
This study aims to determine the correlation between self-regulated learning and learning motivation, which one has more influential on speaking skills in twelfth grade (XII) students at SMA N 1 Mantup in the 2024/2025 academic year. The researcher used quantitative approach, applies a multipale correlational reserch design. The research employed speaking test and questionnaires, to test students srl and lerning motivation by used kuesioner and to tests students speaking skill by used speaking test. The researcher found that learning motivation shows a more significant influence on speaking skills than SRL. The study indicates that learning motivation has a more dominant role in improving students speaking ability.
