Abstract
This study explores the teachers’ perspectives and the effectiveness of using CoComelon videos to improve students' English speaking skills. Conducted with English teachers and 5th-grade students at Anubanloei School, Thailand. The research employed a mixed method approach using pre-experimental design. T-test and thematic analysis was employed to analysis the data. The instrument that used was a pre-tests, post-tests, questionnaires, and deep interviews for data collection. The results indicate a significant improvement on students’ speaking skill including pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension after using CoComelon videos as a teaching media. Teachers reported increased student engagement, motivation, and ease of understanding through the use of visually engaging and age-appropriate videos compare with traditional media. Despite challenges such as occasional technical difficulties, the study highlights the efficacy of integrating multimedia in language teaching, emphasizing the positive role of technology in fostering active and enjoyable learning environments.
