Abstract
Latar Belakang : Quarter life crisis merupakan fenomena yang dialami individu sebagai respon atas timbulnya ketidakstabilan, ketidakpercayaan, ketakutan akan kegagalan, dan juga kepanikan impotensi. Hal tersebut bisa berakibat anxietas, kebingungan yang berlebihan tentang kehidupan, membuat seorang individu menjadi stuck (diam di tempat), bisa juga menjadikan stres yang berakibat pada depresi. Quarter life crisis tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya hope dan emotion regulation. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan hope dan emotion regulation dengan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi sebanyak 468 mahasiswa dengan sampel 215 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dianalisis menggunakan Uji Chi-Square (ρ < α = 0,05). Hasil : Hasil penelitian diperoleh mahasiswa yang memiliki hope tinggi sebanyak 203 (94,4%) orang, mahasiswa yang memiliki emotion regulation cognitive reappraissal sebanyak 215 (100%), sedangkan mahasiswa yang mengalami quarter life crisis sebanyak 150 (69,8%) orang. Nilai signifikansi hubungan quarter life crisis dengan hope ( = 0,11 > α 0,05) dan emotion regulation (memiliki hasil constan). Kesimpulan : Tidak ada hubungan hope dan emotion regulation dengan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik
