Abstract

In PT.KAS Currently Hardware technicians need a long time to diagnose damage to a Hardware, even technicians often delay their work just to produce solutions to hardware damage. Development of expert systems can be used to provide solutions quickly and precisely, for example in terms of determining the type of damage to the hardware. The solution to this problem is to design software using the forward chaining method as a damage tracking process and the solution. This method is suitable for expert systems that diagnose and provide solutions to any damage that occurs to the hardware. Benefits obtained from expert systems that are able to make a diagnosis quickly and provide solutions to symptoms of damage that occur are expected to be able to help technicians in providing solutions and proper handling of damage that occurs on the hardware.
